The Munich Delivery Center
Picking up your new BMW in Munich is the start of your love affair and a very exciting experience. The Munich Delivery Center is conveniently located in northern Munich, not far from the BMW corporate headquarters, the BMW Museum, and BMW's Munich factory.

The Center is conveniently located off the A9 autobahn. When arriving by taxi, please advise the security guard that you would like to proceed to the "Kundenzentrum" (Customer Center).
The drive from Munich's Franz Josef Strauss Airport is approximately 30-45 minutes, except in rush hour when the trip can be longer. The fare is approximately $75.00 U.S dollars.
Delivery Although we strive to make each delivery experience thorough and informational, there can be a waiting period on very busy days (Mondays, Fridays, and days preceding or following a German holiday). The second floor of the Delivery Center houses a café where you are welcome to enjoy a snack, breakfast, or lunch, compliments of BMW.
Delivery Center Hours and Holidays Deliveries are made between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Delivery Center is closed on weekends, German holidays, and BMW scheduled holidays.

BMW Museum After you pick up your new BMW, you may wish to visit the BMW Museum, located a short distance from the Munich Delivery Center. The museum, BMW corporate headquarters in the landmark "Four-Cylinder Building," and factory are across the street from the site of the 1972 Olympic games.
The Museum displays depict BMW's rich heritage and history of automobiles, motorcycles, airplane engines, and marine engines. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (last admission) daily. There is an entrance fee. Telephone: (089) 3822 3307.
Identification Upon arrival at the Delivery Center, you must present a passport and valid driver's license for identification.
Road-Use Tax Your European Delivery package includes road tax for three months. Customers requesting a registration period exceeding three months must pay the additional tax in Euros at the time of delivery.
Registration and Insurance BMW European Delivery provides 14 days of premium insurance and tourist registration with no additional cost to you. However, should you decide to extend this, additional coverage is available for purchase in 30-day increments only. This coverage must extend to your drop-off date and can be arranged through your local BMW Center and must be done in advance to your pick up date. The European Delivery department must be notified a minimum of 2 weeks prior to pick up in Munich in the event of an insurance change. The change of insurance cannot be done upon arrival in Munich.
License A valid U.S. driver's license is sufficient to drive a car in Europe. Drivers must be at least 18 years old. If you plan to travel in Austria, you must have a valid International Driver's License, which can be purchased through the American Automobile Association (AAA) closest to you.
